Custom internal tools for logistics
Your freight runs on spreadsheets. I replace them with one tool that does the busywork.
For small brokers, 3PLs and dispatch teams. One custom internal tool, with AI that reads the rate confirmations and chases the updates for you.
The cost check takes under 2 minutes. No email needed to see the result.

Sound familiar?
- “We copy load details from emails into a sheet, then into the TMS, then into the invoice.”
- “Nobody knows where a truck is until someone calls the driver.”
- “Every month-end someone spends two days matching PODs to invoices.”
- “The master sheet breaks when two people edit it at once.”
What I build
Load board
Every load, its status, carrier, documents and margin on one screen, instead of three tabs and a shared sheet.
Carrier check-in portal
Drivers update status and upload PODs from a link on their phone. No app to install.
Invoice builder
Invoices built from the load record and the POD, ready to send or push to QuickBooks.
With AI where it saves real hours
- Rate con reader
- Forward a rate confirmation; AI pulls out lanes, dates, rates and references into a new load.
- Status chaser
- Drafts check-in texts and emails for late loads and logs the answers back on the load.
- Exception summary
- A morning note listing loads at risk, missing PODs and unbilled freight.
How it works
- 01
Operations audit · $500 to $1,500
I map how work actually moves through your business, list where AI saves real hours, and hand you a written build plan with a fixed price. Credited against the build if you go ahead within 30 days.
- 02
Build sprint · Fixed price, set in the audit
One custom internal tool with one or two AI features, live in 4 to 8 weeks. You see a demo every week.
- 03
Partner retainer · $2,500 to $4,000 a month
Improvements, new automations and AI features as the business changes, plus maintenance. Cancel any month.

Heath, Cogology
“Akash doesn't just write code. He helped us think through features and how the product would make money. It felt like having a technical co-founder on the team.”

No lock-in
- You own everything from day one
- The code, the hosting account and the data are in your name. If we stop working together, nothing is held back.
- A demo every week
- You see working software every week, not a status report.
- Fixed scope, in writing
- You know what gets built and what it costs before any code is written.
Questions
- Who owns the code and the data?
- You do, from the first commit. The repository, the hosting account and the database are set up in your name. I work inside them.
- How long does it take?
- The audit takes about a week. Most builds go live in 4 to 8 weeks, with something usable early on.
- What if our requirements change halfway?
- They usually do. Small changes fit inside the sprint. Bigger ones get a written change with a price before I start them, so the bill never surprises you.
- Is our data safe?
- Your data stays in your own accounts. Access is limited to the people who need it, and AI features use providers that do not train on your data. I will walk you through exactly where data goes before we build.
- What happens after launch?
- You can run it yourself, hand it to another developer with full docs, or keep me on the partner retainer for improvements and support.
- Why an individual and not an agency?
- You talk to the person writing the code. No account managers, no junior handoff, and lower overhead in the price. For a single internal tool, that is usually faster.
