PassFirst takes a US passport or DS-160 visa photo with the phone camera, gives live guidance while you pose, and checks the result against the official rules on the device. You see the finished photo for free and pay once to save it. There are no accounts, no subscription and no ads.
Three rules shaped the whole build. The photo never leaves the phone, so face detection and background checks run on-device with ML Kit. The face is never retouched, because US rules banned edited photos in January 2026, so the app only crops and resizes. The preview is free, so nobody pays for a photo they have not seen.
This is my first solo app, chosen because it can earn from day one. I wrote the full product and build spec before the first line of code, then built it with a coding agent against that spec.
